For a few weeks now I've been telling the story of my first band, Dog Legs & Feet, and our first album, "Bottom", which (25 years ago) became my first digital music production project.
The reason: I've remastered the album and we're releasing it for streaming in the coming weeks.
Drumroll Please…
The first single, My Boots Are Achin' For Your Love, will debut on March 24 on Apple Music, Spotify, TikTok, Amazon, YouTube, Deezer, and wherever you get your music from.
We'll release a second single, Galaxy, on April 7.
And the remastered full album will release on April 21.
In the next few weeks, I'll have more to say about the album, the stories behind the songs, what's changed and what hasn't. For this week, I'll keep things short and stop here.
Actually
I will share one additional teaser. Here's the new avatar I'm going to add to DLF's social media, which is a detail from the new album artwork.

And if perchance you've found yourself wondering why the heck the album is named “Bottom” anyway, there's a clue here. It's a reference to Nick Bottom, the indomitable community-theatre actor from Shakespeare's “A Midsummer Night's Dream” who gets cursed with the head of a donkey and still goes on to live his best life.
